Sarah Lovett, LCAT, ATR-BC
Sarah Lovett is a licensed and board-certified art therapist, living in Denver, Colorado.
Sarah has experience working with a wide range of populations both inside and outside of the clinical setting- including juvenile justice, inpatient psychiatric facilities, social services, university student counseling, substance abuse illness programs, and victims of human trafficking both domestic and internationally. An adjunct professor, a professional artist, a non-profit program director; Sarah has worn many hats in the world of making art.
Still an active Creative Arts Therapist, Sarah works at sites in the Denver area as a contract therapist, across ages and platforms. Sarah does not work for a private practice nor will solicit clients for individual therapy.
Sarah’s approach to the healing power of creative art is to cultivate a space where participants can feel grounded, and leave behind the pressures of being “an artist,” in order to enjoy art making. Sarah focuses on the nervous system, mindfulness, and creative coping skills to guide participants toward feeling balanced and grounded AND confident in having the tools to continue their own creative coping practice.
